Walk With Me
Sara Proudfoot Clinch teamed up with Peter Owen Jones, acclaimed television presenter, author and part-time Anglican priest (BBCs Around The World In 80 Faiths, How To Live A Simple Life) to make this HD short film as a Pilot for television proposing 5 x 1hr episodes looking at man’s relationship to the land, the environment and the sacred – how it has changed over the years and more critically, why. In the series we propose to journey to Britain, Australasia, North America, the Far East and Europe meeting people who still practice their indigenous nature based religions and culture giving them a deeper understanding of the importance of the land and the sacred.
In Walk With Me, Peter Owen Jones, introduces us to national nature reserve, Kingley Vale and its ancient Yew Forest with magnificent 5,000 year old trees, the site of prehistoric Itford Village and the finest Bronze Age burial mounds in Southern England while discussing why people visit the reserve, with local expert and ex-manager of the reserve for over 30 years, Richard Williamson.
